1. Information We Collect

AkilamStore collects minimal data necessary to demonstrate storefront operations:

• Seller credentials: Mobile phone number, used to sign in. Login codes are delivered through WhatsApp, so the phone number and code are shared with Meta for delivery.
• Store information: Shop name, slug handle, tagline, banner, and product catalog details.
• Customer orders: Customer name, contact phone number, and delivery address supplied during checkout.
• Saved checkout details: If a buyer opts in, their name, phone number, and address are also kept in their own browser to fill in later checkouts. They can remove these from the checkout page at any time.

2. How Data Is Used

All submitted details are used solely to simulate shopping cart checkout, order placement, timeline fulfillment, and seller dashboard analytics. We do not sell, rent, or distribute merchant or customer data. There are no third-party tracking scripts, analytics beacons, or advertising cookies. Order updates and COD confirmation messages are delivered through WhatsApp, so the buyer's name, order number, total, and the order link are shared with Meta for delivery. No phone numbers or addresses are included in those messages.

3. AI Co-Pilot Data Protection

When utilizing AI drafting features, store Q&A, or Cash on Delivery risk scoring, customer phone numbers and street addresses are never transmitted to external AI models. Only first names and sanitized order details are formatted for prompt context. Risk scoring also uses the city, state, and PIN code, whether the address includes a house number and landmark, and how many earlier orders were delivered or cancelled.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Sellers may permanently erase their store, product catalog, customer records, and orders at any time through the Danger Zone in Store Settings. All associated database records are cascade-deleted immediately.
